I’m absolutely thrilled to announce that I have been offered the Katharine Susannah Prichard Invited Writer-in-Residence position for 2022. This is a wonderful opportunity to spend two weeks in a cottage in the tranquil surrounds of Katharine’s place to read, write, write, repeat. I was very fortunate earlier this year to spend two nights there as part of the Westerly Magazine Writers’ Development Program and found that my initial idea leaving home transformed to something more nuanced during my stay. Congratulations to Josephine Taylor for winning the Emerging Writer Residency and I look forward to hearing who the other recipients are in the Established and Upcoming categories.
